Class C Occupational Health and Safety Trainings
Objective of the Trainings
To provide the engineers or technical staff who want to be an occupational safety specialist with the necessary knowledge regarding occupational health and safety so that they can apply their professional skills in their workplaces.
Who can participate in the trainings?
- Faculty of Engineering Graduates
- Faculty of Architecture Graduates
- Technical Personnel (technical staff, technical teachers, physicists, chemists or biologists and graduates of universities’ occupational health and safety programs)
- Occupational Health and Safety Associate’s Degree Graduates
Documents required for final enrollment
- Letter of application (to be filled in at the University)
- Copy of birth certificate
- Bachelor's-associate’s degree diploma or interim graduation certificate
- 1 passport photo
- Receipt of tuition fee
Content of the Trainings
The trainings are 6 hours per day.
Each class is 45 minutes with a 15-minute break.
The absence is limited to 6 hours.
The instructor writes “ABSENT” on the attendance record of the participants who are absent from the course and the attendance records are signed by the responsible manager at the end of the day.
Throughout the trainings, the participants are informed through written and visual training materials prepared in accordance with the courses during distance and formal training.
The compulsory formal (face-to-face classroom training) training hours in the courses are determined.

Training Method
90 hours of formal education, 90 hours of distance education, 40 hours of internship
Certificate to be Given at the End of Training
Candidates can be absent for a maximum of 6 hours, excused or unexcused, throughout the theoretical education.
Students must attend all practical trainings.
Participants are given an Education Participation Certificate after the trainings.
With this certificate, participants can take the exam carried out by the Ministry.
Those who score 70 and above in the exam are given the C Occupational Safety Specialist Certificate.
Place of Training
The Class C occupational safety formal education is given at the İstanbul Kültür University Incirli Campus in the Vocational School classrooms.
